Shanda, our baby girl, Audrey, and I are set to start traveling again to finish raising our support to return to Berlin, Germany.  We are looking forward to seeing friends and sharing our vision with local churches as we begin our trek around the southeast and midwest United States.

As we open the paper or tune into the news and hear of the possibility of a recession, it is encouraging to see that the generosity of the godly has not diminished!  Throughout modern history, the church is known for their willingness to give and sacrifice to help others.

We have seen that recently with the hurricanes that have reeked havoc in the Gulf of Mexico.  Even in the devastating tsunami of Indonesia, it was the Church of Jesus that stepped up to the plate to offer all the assistance we could to help those in need.

Now there is a new need in the world.  It isn't the voice of hurricane victims or tsunami survivors but the voice of the lost of Europe.  The educated indifference of millions of souls that don't know Jesus but are still crying out for something to fill the voice in their lives.  With 90 million people and only 2% of them Christian, it isn't hard to see that Germany has turned its back on God.

We are seeing a European youth culture that is on the brink of being one of the largest unreached people groups around.  We are witnessing the continent that gave us the Gospel in dire need of a fresh Reformation themselves.

Europe is decidedly post-Christian.  Did you know that the church in Africa is growing 50 times faster than Europe?  The church in Asia is growing 43 times faster than the church in Europe.  Something must be done!

As we take the Good News to Berlin, Germany, reaching the youth and discipling them through the hands-on ministry of Masters Commission, we know we can see a reversal of spiritual destinies.  Our church in Berlin, RESET, is seeing explosive growth!  Since we joined with a handful of people in the pastor's house in 2004, there are now almost 150 people that call us their spiritual home.  The pastor and church are eagerly awaiting our return to begin a new push of discipleship and evangelism in the church.

After almost a year of fundraising, we need your faithful financial support to return to Berlin and reach this city for Jesus!  As we reach this key metropolitan city, we can see this fresh spark carried across Europe.  We have met the physical needs of people in our backyards and around the world.  Now, let us rally together to confront the spiritual needs of an entire city, country and continent.
